About Lucas Lawson
Like most Canadian kids, I grew up loving the game of hockey. As I got into midget /junior levels I began to Focus more of my time and energy towards developing my skills on and off the ice. At 19 I began to see the time I had invested, paying off. I received an NCAA scholarship to the University of Maine. Four years later I signed an NHL contract with the New York rangers. I played professional for the next eight seasons in North America and Europe. In 2010, I retired from playing pro hockey, but Felt I had something special to offer other hockey players. The feedback I always got back from coaches was that skating was my biggest attribute. With that being such a big part of today’s game, myself along with my skating coach knew what went into creating a great skater.
